  The endocannabinoid system (ECS) refers to a unique molecular system that is responsible for balancing and regulating several physiological processes in the body such as immune response, appetite, communication between cells, metabolism, and memory. Through this system, cannabinoids can interact with the metabolic enzymes and receptors in the body to trigger the therapeutic effects.
